I've been in Austin for three years, and have lived all around the country before landing here, as well as being to and through all but xxx of the states. I've gotten around more than most folk, I guess. My outlets are music, art, and writing. This seems like a good place to mention my favorite band is Kylesa. I art quite a bit; my favorite medium is ink and bristol board. It's been described as "industrial-tribal," whatever that means. I greatly admire Mike Mignola's works, and find his art speaks to me in ways I can't begin to list. I mean, I can, just not now. I listen to a variety of music, from bluegrass to funk to underground hip-hop to death metal. If it's quality, I'm down. I work out several times a week, watch what I eat. I do a lot of running. Some people say it's boring, but I never seem to get tired of being out in on the road with a decent mix of tunes to power through it. I'm x ' x , and don't care if you're taller than me. Simple things go a long way with me. A bottle of wine and the night sky. Walks in the autumn and winter (otherwise, Austin's too bloody hot). Cartoons, science, science-fiction, Mexican food. Documentaries and foreign films. Seeing good concerts with good people. Heck, just about anything with good people. I'm a gigantic nerd, all settled, but most people seem to be completely unaware of this fact. I don't try to hide being a wee bit of a geek, or anything. My tattoos bear that xxx out; I just save the geek conversations for other geeks. Looking for a lady around my age ( x - x ish).
